THE ARGUUL

A humanoid class of Vampires who possess spider qualities. They have evolved to be nearly identical in appearance to Humans, so as to walk among and prey on them. And though very human-like in appearance, they are extremely long-lived and difficult to kill thanks to their superior regenerative powers. They are much more physically powerful than an average human, rivaling Ice Barbarians in strength, and can climb walls. Their incisors extend when they are going to feed (they appear to be a normal size the rest of the time). They also have spinnerets in their mouths and can spit out webs, while some also have poisonous bites.

Much like traditional vampires, they feed on the blood of humanoids and animals (if need be) with the exception that while biting they will introduce a powerful enzyme that, after an extended period of feeding, will begin to liquefy the insides of their victim so that they can consume more then just blood. A full feeding (which can take days) results in not only exsanguination, but leaves not much more than a husk of the victim left behind.

They can be found anywhere in Arcadia though their numbers are few. Many do not even believe they exist.
