THE CILISTINE

A tall and powerful race, they are significantly stronger, more athletic and longer lived than any other human species. Some scientists have said it looks as though someone was trying to fix everything wrong with human biology and the result was The Cilistine. They often have darker complexions with dark hair and blue, gray or green eyes. It is believed that they may have originated in the Hermit Kingdom territory and were driven out by the Nephilhim only to resettle across The Western Gap.

Their process of forging is highly regarded and their weapons, armor and particularly their shields are prized for their quality, light weight and ability to stop all manner of projectiles from arrows to bullets to lasers. There is a great deal of speculation regarding magic playing a role in the forging process, but the techniques are a closely guarded state secret and so remain a mystery. Many see their armor and shields as a great equalizer between societies with significant differences in technology. Arms trade has become the largest revenue driver for The Cilistine.
