THE ICE BARBARIANS

The people known as The Ice Barbarians are a group composed of many tribes of large, blue humanoids who live throughout the vast Ice Mountains on the northern border of The Kren Empire. Though organized in tribes, they all come under one elected King and are a particularly unified people considering the vast distances between some of their villages and the incredibly difficult terrain found in the Ice Mountains. They are renowned throughout all of Arcadia for their physical strength and warrior skills and are a critical member of The Alliance with very close ties to The Priogen. Utterly fearless on the battlefield, very few would welcome a conflict with them. They have long served as a wall that separates The Kren from the rest of northern Arcadia and have stymied any attempts by them to expand. The Ice Barbarians claim that they have never been defeated in battle with The Kren. Because of this history, there is a great hatred but also an unspoken respect The Kren have for them that is very different from how they view any other race.

They live alongside, and in a state of some tension, with a few small populations of Nephilim who have migrated from The Barrens. Though these giants pledge no fealty to The Barrens, nor Nephilheim.
