THE KIN

The Kin are nomadic and semi-settled cyborgs of an undetermined race. While they are humanoid and bear a good deal of resemblance to humans there are very significant differences from skin color (which is often blueish) to protruding bone structures at their joints and spine to the excessively coarse hair they possess. They hold no alliances to any race and are quite mad and exceptionally hostile (both possibly caused by excess inbreeding). Though they live in a state of relatively low technology, they have enough know-how to repair their cybernetics and apply them to their offspring during their coming of age rituals. They are most often encountered during scavenging raids as they look for spare parts and tools.
