THE NEPHILIM

The Giants, Ettins, Titans and Cyclops from Nephilheim are collectively known as The Nephilim. Nephilheim is in the North of the continent across The Western Gap, beyond The Midlands and Gullen Woods. Much of the ancient duty of the city of Longview in The Range is to watch the movement of The Nephilim and, more recently, the movements of The Iron Order. Not very long ago a band of Nephilim, lead by Hrym, sailed to The Cilistine Empire and invaded, taking over The Barrens and some lands to the south. During their initial invasion they were able to overrun all the lands of The Cilistine Empire from the shores of The Barrens on The Great Inlet to the Libre Sea in the southeast, effectively cutting off the Cilistine Empire from The Borderlands.

 

A great wall was built along The Borderlands to protect from frequent Nephilim raids, but the combined forces of The Allied Nations were able to push the Nephilim back to the current borders of The Barrens. It is unclear if the Nephilim of The Barrens still owe fealty to the King of Nephilheim since the inner workings of the politics of Nephilheim have mostly remained a mystery to the outside world.
