THE BLIND MEN

A very hostile race of ant-like humanoids. They are war-like, genocidal aggressors. Incapable of speech, they instead use a variety of chemicals to communicate that can also be used as offensive and defensive weapons. There are no known translations of their "language" and many point to this inability to communicate with other races as a primary reason for conflict. Though the nature of their acts and their overt hostility and enslavement of other races makes many believe that whether they could communicate or not, their behavior towards other cultures would not change.

The Jor call them "The Blind Men of The Dark Hills" due to their lack of visible eyes and that they rely almost totally on their sense of smell and antennae to interpret the world around them. Without a translatable name for themselves, most have adopted this moniker for them.
