THE YAN

A humanoid, albino race with blond or white hair and nearly translucent skin. There are many rumors that the Yan secretly engage in magic rituals. Often the rumors relate that it is the practice of blood magic that is most common among them - though there has been no evidence of this, nor have any Yan admitted to such practices. They are an incredibly intelligent race who often find themselves as counselors and advisers to Kings, Archons and leaders of nations because of their knowledge and legendary wisdom. One of the most influential Lords of the Isle is Yan. They can have blue, yellow or reddish/pink eyes (yellow or reddish are much more common). They come from Tuon, a long gone city-state. Legends claim that Pai Gian barbarians destroyed Tuon, enslaved the Yan and built their great empire from the stolen secrets of the Yan, but all of this is long lost in antiquity.
